TOUR TO MAJESTIC DUDHSAGAR FALLS OF GOA
They say life is an adventure and I guess you got to grab any chance an adventure presents itself. What else to capture and make new memories than traveling to dudhsagar waterfalls which are amongst the tallest falls in India.
In literal words, Dudhsagar means "Sea of Milk," and the waterfall gets its name from legendary mythology in which a Princess used to bathe in a lake by the river Mandovi every day. One day, a passer-by some guides believe he was also a Prince stopped near the lake and stared at the Princess. By the time the maid arrived, the Princess had inverted a jug of milk resting in front of her, creating a virtual screen between herself and the passer-view, to protect her dignity. And, as the locals tell, this waterfall has been there ever since, producing a milk curtain (only God knows for whom).
Location and means

It is located on the Mondovi River in the Indian state of Goa, the fall is sited in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollen national amongst western ghats. Madgaon-Belgaum railway route, zero entry charges to visit the falls of Goa. A rented vehicle is provided for all visitors in the case of owned vehicle one needs to park it. Dudhsagar falls are open between 09:00 am to 06:00 pm
Experience
The sight of milky white water falling from a mountain of a height of 1017 feet will leave you in awe! The power, the nature scented of a green jungle, the fresh breeze who wouldn’t want to pause time and experience this again and again. The name dudhsagar means the sea of milk, the name emerges from the spectacular white form that is formed when the fall makes as it drops to the lake. At the peak of the monsoon season, the beauty of the fall is at its peak which is the best time to visit but still, the glorious scenario can be experienced throughout the seasons.
The Dudhsagar falls are a beautiful sight during the monsoon. Taking the train from Madgaon to Castle Rock Railway station, where the rail line runs directly through the falls, is one way you may see it. My memory card was full of pictures simply from just one train journey.
The trip to dudhsagar waterfalls first starts with the ride of a lifetime by Mollen national park jeep safari, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes through the jungle. Along the way, one can take the advantage of the scenes and enjoy the experience of seeing a variety of animals.
The fall water quality is good for a photograph but also a bit chilled, it gets closed during the monsoon season as the level of water rises hindering the jeep from passing through.
Everyone is provided with life jackets regardless of swimming, one can have the magical experience of swimming and the railway above as the train passes it’s a moment worth dying off.
Attraction sites nearby
1. Trekking trials

It's such an exciting experience going through the uphill trek passing by the four-tiered fall, the moderate trials are covered with gravel and pebbles. If you only came for trekking between June and August is best for the activity.

2. Spice gardens

As you step into Sahyadri farm a strong natural scent of spices will knock you. The land is about 130, acre names are put on tags on each tree and one can get to learn about all the spices, as a spice lover it’s the best place to visit and eat the food they cook from different spices.

3. Devils’ canyon

This is a nature work, it’s a river gorge near the falls, the activity mainly taking place in this area is hiking. Strong undercurrents, slippery stones, and depths makes it magnificent, although swimming is not allowed in this area as the currents are too strong and intimidating.

4. Historical legacy

Tambadi sure it's a place made for lord shiva its an old-fashioned temple it is the oldest temple made of grey-black talc chlorite soap stone giving it a pearl like look.it existed even during the Portuguese, inside it, there is an idol Nandi bull

5. Portuguese era of Goa

Just nearby the dudhsagar plantation there is a magnificent mansion, in order to enter permission is needed for an appointment to be made at the tourist office. Through these homes, the conquerors' heritage is still present. The materials used to construct the building have histories from all over the world, even though the majority of the architecture is in the European style.

There are several houses nearby where you may get terracotta from Mangalore, porcelain from China, tapestries from Portugal, cut glass from Venice, and much more. For me to pull all of this together with our really talented native artisans is beyond words. The area around Dudhsagar makes for the ideal retreat location.

6. Bhagwan Mahavir national park

The Eastern Ghats surround the wildlife-rich area known as Bhagwan Mahavir National Park, formerly known as the Mollem game sanctuary. There are small sections of Savannah grasslands here according to the state of Karnataka's proximity to it. Bhagwan Mahavir, home to a variety of native and exotic species, was designated as a national park in the late 1970s. I got to view the park in all of its natural splendor, from the usual Tiger, Elephants, and Indian Bison to the many species of golden oriole, hump-nosed pit viper, and fairy bluebirds. Among the park's many attractions are Tambadi Waterfalls, Devil's Canyon, Sunset Point, and Tamba Surla Temple. This also makes it possible to have hiking and jeep paths for fun excursions across the park.

7. Lady of Piety church

The church, which is located on Piedade of Divar Island, was built in the first half of the 18th century. It was reconstructed with a hint of baroque art. I could see several other stunning cathedrals from where I was standing on the island. The exquisite stucco work and glass paintings on the silk white edifice are accented with a park for visitors as well. Walking here on the damp grass was like engaging in hours-long meditation. The sights from here allowed me to have a vivid memory of Our Lady of Piety Church.

It is 46.2 km from the fall, situates in agando. • Carry a swimsuit, to enjoy the waterfall and the beautiful scenario above
• Make sure you have something in your stomach, only at the jeep counter is the food provided after no food is available
• For faster services and to avoid the high rush season, you can book tickets online, it prevents all the queue hassles
• Be careful as monkeys are around, especially at the top of the jeep, make sure to secure your luggage
• The ride is bumpy for sensitive people be aware of it

Dudhsagar is one of my favorite places to travel and explore, its magical and breathtaking moments are worth it, life is made up of every tiny breathtaking moment and I guess at this rate mine has been completed by every moment captures during my tour.

Best Bus services Goa
My bus ride from Brno to Olomouc was amazing, spotlessly clean bus, a nice hostess, free hot drinks, free headphones, TV, music, and free wifi. No words, surprising value for money. Also, trains are very nice (low cost area with free wifi, newspaper and a bottle of water) and also very cheap. Would recommend to EVERYONE, best bus and train experience ever!
